Rocky and Normie are two young dogs who have probably been strays since birth. They were rescued in Rock Hill, SC. Animal Adoption League (www.mynextpet.com) has taken these sweet boys in to give them a chance at the good life they deserve. UPDATE: Rocky and Normie have both been adopted!! Can you help Rocky and Normie?
Rocky and Normie have a long way to go before they can hope to find loving furever homes. They have terrible skin infections and demodex which will require several months of treatment before they can even be neutered. Though they are expected to make a full recovery, the costs associated with their treatment is expected to approach or exceed $2,000.
Animal Adoption League is a non-profit organization that relies entirely on fund-raising and donations in order to help homeless and abused animals like Rocky and Normie.
If you would like to help, please make your check payable to Animal Adoption League, and mail it to Camp Bark, PO Box 1353, Waxhaw, NC 28173. Be sure to note "Rocky and Normie" in the memo area of your check. Thank you!
UPDATE: Because of the generous outpouring of support for Rocky and Normie, all of their medical bills have been covered. The boys ask that you continue to help Animal Adoption League in helping other dogs (and cats too!) that have high medical bills. Especially, please remember their friend, Boomerang ("Boomer" for short), who needs to have eye surgery.

Rocky and Normie have a form of mange but because it was left neglected for months and months as they strayed, multiple skin infections have really taken their toll on their bodies and skin.
There are several types of mange and this is the kind that isn't caught from another dog nor is it contagious.
They will be healthy in the future but for now they still need a lot of vet care and all their vetting is going to be pricey.
