Loving the Lights

Love LightsWhile Rocky and I have been looking at the Grrristmas tree and loving the beautiful lights, another kind of beautiful lights were seen by hundreds of people Saturday night in Rock Hill, where we came from.

The nice hoomans that are helping us are in a group called Animal Adoption League and Saturday night they set out hundreds of flickering lights by reflecting pools in a park. Hoomans came from all over to read the names on each one and water was coming out of all of their eyes.

There was one in honor of our foster mom and dad, even one for us! It said "In Honor of Rocky and Normie and healing". I feel so happy to know there are a lot of hoomans who love us and sad that we haven't met all of them yet.

Foster mom explained that a lot of these were placed by hoomans who had guys like us in their lives and then they were called to go live at a place she called the "Rainbow Bridge". She said the guys wait there for their hooman friends to come to the Rainbow Bridge to be with them again. Just as she was explaining this to me and Rocky, she suddenly got a cold and had to sniffle and water came out of her eyes, too. She hugged us both and told us we were good boys and it would be a long time before we would go to the Rainbow Bridge.

It made us both really happy to know we didn't have to go away from our hooman friends yet, since it will be a long time before we are able to tell all of them how much we love them.

In Honor of All Rescuers
In Memory of Those waiting at the Rainbow Bridge
In Honor of All those waiting for loving homes
In Honor of All Foster Moms & Dads

Love,
Rocky and Normie
